This is at the WWII museum in Caen. It is officially called: The Caen Memorial: History to Understand the World.

Monkey is testing out one of the big guns at Pointe du Hoc

Pointe du Hoc is very humbling. The bunkers and giant craters that still remain tell a story of a hard to imagine era of violent struggle.

From down in a bomb crater. Still impressive after almost 70 years.

The British troops somehow scaled these cliffs to fight the Nazis

Just imagine looking out and seeing the line of Allied boats and ships.

The wood planks in the roof show the signs of the fire
